As you are on 10.4.6. I am afraid you won't be able to sync your calendars with MobileMe. The new calendar arrangements there place the calendars on MobileMe, and iCal and other devices read them from there. Your iPhone is evidently doing so, but I'm afraid that Tiger does not contain the necessary programming to enable your computer to read the MobileMe calendars, so your calendars will stay 'local' and cannot sync.
The only workaround is to upgrade to Leopard - Snow Leopard would be better if your computer can handle it; it requires Intel.
Thanks for your help!
I made a mistake by stating I was on Tiger. I am on Leopard latest version and I managed to fix the problem by deleting the cal file and adding a new one.
error message are back again!!
The request for the account encountered an unexpected network error (error 60).
I deleted the old ical file and added a new one with my mobile me account details.
I am now getting error messages again!!
I am fully up to date with ical and OS.
Hi All: My iPhone will not sync with iCal. This is a direct USB connection, no MobileMe involved. There is no error message; the Mac apparently just does not "see" events on the iPhone. I've changed the synching prefs from "Sync all calendars," to "Sync selected calendars" (and checking all of my calendars), back to "Sync all calendars"--and the iPhone info simply does not show on the desktop Calendar.
I suspect I've done something stupid with some checkbox someplace. Any ideas?
