Hi, I have a third generation iPad and I have really noticed some odd behavior.  I know about the "heatgate" complaints and I'm not trying to dramatize that, but I don't know if this is normal.

When I'm reading a very long web page (just leisurely scrolling, not going from page to page) or reading in Airplane mode my bottom left corner (with the A5X) and, eventually, the whole iPad gets very warm.  I would expect this if I was laying a game or jumping from page to page, but just scrolling?

Do you think this is normal?  Especially the airplane mode...when that's enabled shouldn't the iPad be just a box with a lit up screen?  Why is the A5X running so hot in that mode?
