I have an IMac with wake on wireless: supported, a brand new AE and an ATV3. I cannot get the IMac to wake on Lan wirelessly. I have a MBP Retina set up the exact same way on the network, for which WOL seems to work.

I use ML and cannot activate WOL on the IMac via the Remote app on IPhone or IPad either, although it does register the IMac.

Any help would be highly appreciated. I have searched the net but have not found a working solution.

    Hi Marc,

Nope, still the same. Do you have a similar issue? I spent quite some time searching for a solution, but it seems there are problems with WOL/Bonjour sleep proxy, even in a pure Apple environment and with hardware that supposedly supports it.

Man, this surprises me. Did you ever contacted customer support? What did they tell you? thanks again for your response.

    Hi Marc,

No, I actually did not. I spend hours on hours searching the net, trying out different solutions and even ended up buying a new AE because some things pointed in the direction that it might solve the issue. Alas, it did not.

Sorry to hear that. I encourage you to open a support request for that is the only way Apple can become aware of the problem and work on solving it.

    Thanks again
