Last night while attempting to charge my iPhone I received the "Charging with this device is not supported" alert.
This is with a regular iPod/iPhone charger.
Sometimes I receive these messages if it's not plugged in fully or the like, however it would not work at all anymore.
Today my phone died, and now using the charger from 3 different power sources + trying an iPod dock would not get it passed the little power symbol that pops up before turning it on.
The part where it is plugged in looks slightly like it has been corroded somehow. I keep my phone clean so have no idea why this would hapen.
Is my phone junked?
Clean iPhone charging port with clean dry toothbrush. See if better. If not clean iPhone charging port again with toothbrush and Isopropyl Alcohol, and if needed Isopropyl Alcohol and lint free cloth. Let it dry for a minute, see if fixed.
