The only people who can answer your question work at Bell Mobile TV.
Try asking there.

I did, and you probably can guess the answer I got. The app blocks video output via HDMI.
It is a bit dissapointing as the application could have so much greater use if it WAS ALLOWED to push
video out. Frustrating that the hardware can do it, the software could do it, it's just blocked.
I don't get why either - I have to pay for a full home TV package and mobile account to have mobile
TV as a feature, so it's not like I can get TV for free (or cheaply). I'd like to use it to connect to my TV
on my boat.
The alternatives will cost $1000's more.
Is there any way around this block?

If there is, you can't ask for an answer here as it would be breaking the terms of your contract with Bell Mobile.
Apple frowns upon such activies being discussed here.
You'll have better luck in a non-Apple sponsored forum.

I wasn't necessarily talking about something illegal. I meant is there another wired or wireless setup that could achieve what I want. For instance heard a bit about AirView, that could have helped, at least I could then get the video to my iPad which is bigger, but I understand this app is no longer available.

If they don't want you to view the video on a big screen from the iPad, they would have to change the app to allow that. Anything that gets around that restriction can't be discussed here.

Well, they allow you to view it on an iPad with a 3G connection, so why would it be illegal to stream from the phone to my iPad?
Why would I need to do this? My iPad is only the 16GB wireless version. I don't have a wireless network on my boat. So I could essentially use my iPhone to pick up a cellular connection and stream the mobile TV to the iPad. At least then I get to watch it on a bigger iPad screen then the 4" iPhone.
I think this is perfectly legal, but not sure if the software/hardware is available.
