    Hi

The Pref. file is in Your User Account Library - most often HIDDEN in newer Mac OS

See top Menu - Use GO and select Library

    - Here find Preferences

    And here it is.

Move it to DeskTop - WHEN iMovie is not running !

Start iMovie again and it creates new Error free one/s

    Yours Bengt W

I had the same problem. Mine would crash repetitively and when I would record a microphone voice, it would use the last sucessfull recording I did. It wouldn't use the one I just dictated. Weird I know. Anyways, I read an article here as well: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4061. It explained a little more in depth about how to delete the preferences file and it worked!
