Try to find the differences between your regular account and the new account where Aperture works.
- Compare your preference settings in Aperture.
- Check your start-up items in in the Users&Groups panel. Do you use different start up items when logging in?
- Have you installed any software, that is only used in your account and not installed for all users, like Cameras of Flexibit?
Make sure your Aperture library is in working condition. Crashes can have left it corrupted, so use the Aperture Library first Aid Tools to repair the permissions and the database, see:
SInce the problem is restricted to your account, remove the User preferences from the User Library, if none of the above fixed the problem, see teh paragraph on preferences in
and if that does not suffice, remove the presets.
