Q: Safari doesn't display properly

I'm running safari 5.1.7 on my Mac OS X 10.6.8. Some web pages show text overlapping and boxes are unavailable to be ticked. Can someone please help me fix this, it's driving me crazy!

From the Safari menu bar, select Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Advanced and uncheck the box marked Never use font sizes smaller than...

Have you emptied your SAfari cache & history list yet? If not do that now. Restart Safari, and try again.
By the way, the box that was referred to earlier should be checked, and the size of the font should be 9.

Bee - I tried emptying cache and history, and checked the box with font size 9. Unfortunately it still happens! Attached is an example of what I see.
