I just recently upgraded to iOS 6 & had to download youtubes own app since apple no longer provides it in iOS6.

Before upgrading I was able to play a video/music/radio etc on youtube when the phone was turned off.  I would play the video, shut the phone off, then double tap the home button to bring up the ipod fucntions of the phone & it would have the youtube video I just closed on up in que & would be able to play youtube audio without having to have the video going, saving on battery life.  This was nice specifically for music & talk radio shows on youtube.

Is there any kind of similar workaround with the new youtube app?  It seems when I try to do the same thing it doesn't have the youtube video in que to play.
