App Store can not connect to iTune Store to get updates

This morning I was unable to get updates through the App Store from all three of my devices (Mac, iPhone5, iPad2).  I can use the other buttons just fine but get a message "Could Not Complete Your App Store Request.  The app store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."  The store obviously is available since I can install new apps from the store.  Any thoughts?  I haven't seen anything specific to this in the forum lately.

 

My Mac is running: 10.8.2,

App Store: 1.2.1

iTune: 10 (can't get latest update with this problem)
