Turn off match, sign out of iTunes Store then restart your computer. After restart, sign back into iTunes Store but not match yet. Get your apps updated then sign back into match.

Thank you Jim. This worked. I'm generally pleased with the new look and features of iTunes 11 but this was driving me batty.
