Well I have been reading but there is some ambiguity in what you're saying:

So I went to the source and opened iPhoto.  From there are two listed events, AppleDesktop and Pictures.

Is this in the iPhoto Window ? Somewhere else?

Um yes it is about iPhoto.  The photo IS showing up as an exclamation point.  Do you people even read?  I've stated everything that is happening.  iPhoto shows it but when I click on it, it becomes an exclamation point.

The other possibility is that you are not expressing yourself as clearly as you think you are. Bearing in mind that the people whose help you're seeking are volunteers, giving of their time and knowledge for free to try and help you, do you think that this:

Aren't you reading this at all?

Is the best way to interact with them?

Just to demonstrate that yes, I was reading, let me reassure you that I stopped right there. Good luck with your issue.
