You should check if your TV is able to take data signals via HDMI. Study its manual on how to connect PCs (or Macs). Many, if not most, TVs expect video signals via HDMI, not data, leading to weird symptoms when connecting your Mac - in addition to the flickering which is a different issue.

is not that old it came out on 2011 i believe, i also connected it on my older tv a 2010 model and i have the same problem, i have other tv's but i dont think it could be a Samsung problem, i also installed windows 7, and 8 on the Mac Mini and updated the HDMI driver From Intel Website but no luck. Is There another OS From Apple for the mac mini that could resolve this issue, by having a different HDMI Driver etc... last year i experienced a similar problem but from AMD A4-Series but i ended up exchanging the laptop for one with A8-Series which had no problems... at this point for me is either return the Mac Mini or wait another week for the update... i heard that Intel Submitted the new drivers with the fix to Apple but wonder how long it wil take for them to release it.
