I don't see anything that unusual - no non-Apple kext's - however, it appears to be some sort of RAM issue. Run the Apple Hardware Test and note any errors. If there are no errors found and the problem is reoccurring, take your machine to your local Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (which you're going to have to do anyway if the hardware test fails).

    Good luck,

Those page faults - it could be problems with your RAM or another hardware issue - just run the AHT and see what you get.

Yeah, it can take some time - just be patient (hey, I'm copying over a terabyte of data from an old drive to a new drive so I've nothing but time on my hands - so I'll be up all night; let me know what you find).

    you working with apple?

Not for decades - just a user in this user-to-user forum, like yourself.

I'm just suspecting a hardware problem, but the Apple Hardware Test is not as extensive as the tests run by the techs at the service centers. Depending on what might be wrong with your MBP (and we don't know that yet), they may be able to fix it quickly or it may take up to five days (that's been my experience).

Just keep your fingers crossed - all you can do at this point.

As to Google Chrome, it had some problems early on with the new retina models, but if you've a recent edition, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Nor with InDesign or any other of the CS6 apps.

There was nothing in your log indicating a software error - if you persist in getting kernel panics, I think that you're just going to have to take your machine to an Apple Store or an AASP and have them run extensive hardware tests on it.

Post back if you've another kp...
