I'm trying to reinstall iPhoto 06 because it didn't recognize my library. I deleted iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD because they were not responding either. I have 11 gb of space left on computer. Every time I try to reinstall these programs the install crashes.  My computer is tiger. Not sure how to get them back on. I backed up all my files. Help please.

ibook g4, Mac OS X (10.4)

From where are you installing the applications?  The disk that came with the iBook or an iLife 6 disc?

Post the first 50 lines of the crash report and the lines from the thread that crashed if it's not in the first 50 lines.

Have you run Disk Uility to repair disk permissions and verify  the hard drive?

Also, it is very likely that the iPhoto applicaiton wasn't the culprit but that the library was damaged and needed repairing.

Boot into  Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode and see if you can run the installer from there.

I had some trouble with my iLife disk (it wouldn't read) and got around it by making a disk image of it. It's a long shot but you might try that and see if you can install from the disk image.
