I've had the same issue with cellular connection since upgrading to 6.01. Missed the 6.0 upgrade on the phone but my wife's phone got it and had the same problem. Wi-Fi works fine, just no cellular connection - any suggestions? Mine was complicated in trying to clear an old Apple ID off my phone through all the various applications. Talk about hiding everything from your customers...

I certainly did reset the network but it didn't help. I even reset the phone to factory defaults as suggested by an apple support agent but it didn't rectify the problem. The funny thing is that apple still denying the problem with all these complains from different customers all over the world!!! Why not admitting the problem officially and acting on it instead??! They certainly lost my respect and confidence in their products and I'll be the first to switch to Microsoft phone once its available in my area

I`v got a 4s upgraded also to 6.0.1 and I can`t get any network.
I read all the other related post and threads and I tried all the restoring option possible and still nothing. I`m currently waiting for a new micro sim card and see if works. After that I will try to get it check.
P.s. I just finished Steve Jobs biografy and experiencing this now and reading all about it, I really feel bad for Steve Jobs, all the hard work put into building a benchmark in quality and inovation, is beign grounded with this amateur and disrespectfull attitude.
I`m waiting for a official statement to see what the people in charge will do.

Could'nt have said it better. Bang on point Ovulix. However, I really doubt the fact that Apple would come with a statement since this problem raised with the original iso 6 and nothing came up from them. BTW, I changed my SIM card but problem still there. Good luck with urs

Alm999, I heard that some ppl solved the issue, some, the bigger majority have not fixed it with replacing the sim. If I can`t fix it soon, I will sell it, hopefully somebody will buy it. Although it will be a hustle, I don`t know....
This issue creates also really bad kharma, besides the obvious personal and business related problem, for us the users.
I hope the situation will turn around somehow. Good luck

I have a similar problem. I have no cell phone signal or nearly no signal. I can get reception if i am very close to a tower but it pretty much goes from full strength to nothing. I have tons of dead spots in coverage now where i never had before and where my droid still has great reception.
I know enough about the iphone 3gs to be very dangerous. I have the factory unlock for the phone so its on t-mobile. I upgraded at first just to 6 when it came out and had no problems in fact my wife has a 3gs as well and we kept her phone on 6 an dshe has no issues.
Only after i updated to 6.0.1 to fix that ridiculous captive portal issue with the iphone did this occure. I am nearly certain that they actually changed the baseband on the phones but i havent confirmed it. I say this because i happen to have a saves shsh blob for my phone and i reverted back to 5.1.1 (mind you i dont actualy jailbreak because whatever is in the jailbreak these days significantly increases boot time which is annoying to me) and i had the same reception issues.
I highly doubt that even if i paid apple to correct this that they would be able to until they release another revision to the baseband and correct this garbage.
I am no longer upset over this though i have moved on and i swear i will not own another apple product. It is obvious to me that apple does not give a darn and has become even more greedy than they already were.
O and for all those that love to read a post and say o did you try all these really stupid little things here is what i did to tshoot while i was on ios 6.0.1.
I reset just network settings.
i reset all settings.
I reloaded the phone (ie full restore after resetting all settings again)
I turned wifi off and kept it off
i toggled cellular service multiple times.
none of these steps did anything.
The real icing on the cake for me was when i called apple support and ran into a roadbloack with the attendant that wanted me to buy a support case for i think 20$ just so i could then explain all this to someone at apple who probably couldnt do anything for me and tell me to go to a genius bar where they very likely would also not able to correct the problem.
