Do you mean Ipod Nano 7th Gen? If yes, go to iTunes and set to movies. Then click File > Add to Library, select the file you want to add. And sync your ipod nano again.

Sorry, really messed up the title earlier. You were correct, it's a 7th Gen iPod Nano. Thanks for the response. Tried your suggestion....No dice....simply seems nothing at all happens. Have tried clicking "open" after selecting the video (residing on my HDD) as well as dragging during which I just get the circle with a line through it. I've no doubt I'm overlooking something. Also had a heck of a time creating music playlists but think I finally have that figured out.
