I installed new software recently and now I cannot update or install the apps, they appear faded on screen and have "waiting" underneath.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers!

Sorry Stelzie, not a reply, but a "me-too". Upgraded to iPhone 5 yesterday (from 4) and my apps all show "waiting".

Can anyone help solve this one?

Stelzie15, I've solved it too but I'm not sure how! I'd switched on/off and rebooted a couple of times, to no avail. I eventually connected by cable to my Mac, opened iTunes and fiddled around with the apps in iTunes. ie moved them around from the iPhone 4 screen layout to the 5 screen layout, and deleted a couple. Whatever I did, apps are now back to normal.

I have the same problem. Turning phone off then back on provides no joy. I see postings about this going back over two months. But apparently there is no fix.

    Hi K6NCX,

Check if you have turn Restrictions off. Install apps and delete apps must be turned on.

Restrictions were off. No idea where I might find "Install apps and delete apps." But in any case about have my apps were OK. Half weren't.

I synced again, after which all appear to be OK.
