I´m new here. I´m working with FCPX, MAcpro 8core, 24GB Ram, Redrocket. My startupdisk is a SSD, around 10% free space. All the project files are on a external raid.

Question: If I generate proxies from my original R3D files, FCPX fills up my startup disk with (for me) invisible temporary items or such. To delete them I have to restart the computer. And it´s annoying, because I have to sit beside the computer all the time and generate one proxy after the other. I would prefer to run it over night.

I can´t see any possible way to change this behaviour in the prefs. which makes me think this is a bug.
