I have just had a faulty RAM replaced but now cannot find any of my music or photos.  I've tried using the backup but iPhoto & iTunes are asking me to choose a library.  Help I'm stuck!

    This is an OSX question.

The system tried to run back up but both the SSD drive and 1TB drive had been renamed the same.  I've changed the SSD through 'Get Info'.

I want my system back as it was before it went away for repair.  The operating system was on the SSD and all documents, music, photos etc were on the 1TB hard drive.

When I go to ope iTunes or iPhoto I am prompted to choose a library but cannot acutally find the backed up data and am desperately worried that it has all been lost.

Express arre proving hopeless at calling me back, so in desparation I'm using this media.

    You're in the iPhone forum.

Did you try doing a restore using Time Machine to get your library, etc. back where it belongs?

Yes, I don't know how that came to be.  Suppose I clicked on the wrong link.

Anyhow I seem to have resolved the issue by simply copying the back-up files into the storage drive and both iTunes & iPhoto are working fine.  Possibly not a conventional solution but seems to be working.
