Photos for MacIt does but those playlists have to meet certain criteria to be used with iTM.
For example if you see a cloud with a slash through it on a playlist that means it can't be used with iTM for some reason. You might find this KB article helpful: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4054?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US

Dec 13, 2012 6:42 PM in response to mcreallyby skin532,Found a trick.. This issue has been bugging me since i had my iPhone 5 replaced yesterday
First: have both iTunes match on, iOS Device and Computer
Second: change a playlist name. Example "Untitled Playlist" change to "Untitled Playlists" put another letter in there, like i did with the "S".
Third: go to your device and it should pop up. give it a minute to load it. let me know.

Apr 20, 2015 11:02 AM in response to skin532by Nina R,I can't believe I had to resort to this trick more than 2 years later, working with a 2012 Mini and an iPhone 5s. Ridiculous that it's still a problem. Thanks to the community for saving me from wasting more precious time.
