when opening my iPad on screen there is

iPad Not Backed Up

This iPas hasn`t been backed up.

Backups happens when this iPad is

plugged in, locked,and connected

toWi-Fi

Try a reset:

Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo.

press and hold top power button with round home button on the front for 6-8 seconds until ipad restarts.

then make sure you initiate a backup soon so the alert doesnt come back.
