Same problem here. I can't seem to get this fixed at all. It has been a few months now that we have not been able to purchase items in itunes. Rang support who wanted me to answer security questions which I was trying to reset and don't know the answers for!!
I was told that they can't do anything unless I can answer at least one of the security questions.
Email sent to rescue account but nothing ever arrives.
This is very dissapointing and frustrating apple!! I think it is time to put all my apple products on ebay and look at purchasing android.

I have finally had this problem resolved!
If you can not remember at least one of the answers then add a bank card to your account.
Ring up Apple Support and they will put you through to someone who deals with account information.
They will send you a verification code and you will then be able to change your security questions :)
Hope this helps!

Yes, this is ridiculous. They place more emphasis on securing the answers to the questions than the password. If I remember my password, it should not be a problem to reset my security questions. Instead of bring my kids up liking Apple, I am probably bringing them up to like Google since I am always cussing Apple products now.

There isn't a actual way to reset your security questions Apple used to do it a long time ago. But now you have to call Apple support and tell them that you have this problem. I forgot them once i called Apple support and they helped me.
Hope this helps!

I have the same problem but worse; because all I get now when I enter to the account management option is
Exceeded Maximum Attempts
Do you know what is the number of apple support in the US?
Thanks in advance

Sad sad. I tried twice by email to get my security questions reset, I only get an automated response that says I will be contacted in 24 hours, still no contact. I called apple support. The lady actually hung up on me when I didn't know the answers to my security questions. What kind of apple support is this? All I want is to reset my security questions.

You have to phone them.
I called Apple support over a different security issue which required me to reset my Apple ID password.
It came out that I didn't know my security questions. (I knew 3 answers but I didn't know which answer was to which question - long story)
The guy sent me a security code to my iPhone, also came through on my iPad, which I read back to him, he asked details of my credit card and somehow reset my questions so I could do them again. This time I've written them down.
So much for security.
Oh and on that topic, did you know if your email address is taken over by spammers and blacklisted then you loose your whole Apple ID and purchase history from the App Store and iTunes?
I'm going to have to find another way to buy Apple software and music, this is way too much of a security risk for me.
