I got an aiport extreme and set it up on my main desktop computer with a wired connection. It seems to be connecting fine although it seems slower than my 5 yo netgear router that I paid 1/4 of the price for. So anyway I can get my ipod touch to connect to the router, but internet doesn't work on it. My laptop found the network but it says it is having trouble connecting. All of my computers are Windows running windows 7. Are there other settings I need to adjust? I don't want to have to put special software on every computer and device that will connect. If I have to do that I'll return this and get something else. When I was doing my research so many people said it took "seconds" to set this up. I'm going on 30 minutes and am now going to have to switch back to my old router for now until I can figure it out. We have 4 computers (including the desktop), 3 ipod touches, 1 android phone, 1 android tablet, a roku box, a blu ray player, a wii, and a few nintendo handhelds that will all have to connect to this (not all at the same time).
