Error 1015: This error is typically caused by attempts to downgrade the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch's software. This can occur when you attempt to restore using an older .ipsw file. Downgrading to a previous version is not supported. To resolve this issue, attempt to restore with the latest iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch software available from Apple. This error can also occur when an unauthorized modification of the iOS (HT3743) has occurred and you are now trying to restore to an authorized, default state.

I tried to make sync and backup on my sister's Sony Vaio and there started the problem it couldnt properly made the backup and then neither could restore it anymore and start. It frozen woth the itunes logo. She also has a Mac, but I was afraid that I will merge my contacts with hers and therefore didnt use it. I don't have my own laptop at the moment and except on her PC I don't have any other backup of my contacts, SO I need them badly. I will continue looking but I thought You would noe best. Thank you.

When your phone had the picture of itunes and connector your phone was in recovery mode. At this point you should have put your USB cable in the computer side BUT NOT the phone side yet. After connecting the cable to computer you should have held down the home (center) button while connecting the cable to the phone and held it until itunes recognized the phone. You would then have needed to do a restore.
When you went into her itunes did you sign out of her account and sign in with yours? Did you check her computer for itunes updates? Software upates? Is this your email contacts, if so you can restore the phone from new and get the contacts back when you put your emals in.
So where are you in these steps now, what message are you getting, any pictures, etc?
