Open iTunes and from the Menu Bar select Store...
From the Store menu, choose Authorize This Computer. (In earlier versions of iTunes, access this option from the Advanced menu).
When prompted, enter your Apple ID and password, then click Authorize.

Jan 1, 2014 11:01 AM in response to AnaMusicby Mom2014,i did this step, in fact i highlighted all my music at one and then proceeded to exercise your suggestion.
Well when i check out one song to transfere over to a disc, the pop-up from the new file came up.
The pop-up asked me to authorize this computer once again.....of course you have 5 computers to authorize.
thanks but it didn't work.
