Hello, lately there has been a "sockets.log" file showing up when my open my Macintosh HD and I can't find anything online or here that tells what it is or why it shows up there. It was never there before and I don't think I did anything to make it show up. Can anyone tell me what it is and if it's same to remove? or how to hide. I attached a screenshot. Thanks!

If you're using uTorrent, that's creating the file. You can delete it, but uTorrent will likely just recreate it the next time it runs.
if it bothers you it can be hidden with the following command:
sudo chflags hidden /sockets.log

hi there fellas, i was wondering if this file could be harmful in any way or a breach which could lead to future infections!?
