Preferences>Auto List or W/e doesn't work.

How do you turn off auto indenting with new paragraphs? This is extremely frustrating and I'm about to delete the app and switch back to Word. Thanks!

View > Show Inspector. The 10 icons across the top show the various Inspectors. This is the Text Inspector. Explore them, you'll be glad you did.

In the Inspector, select Text and then Tabs. Set your Paragraph Indents as I have done, and you will not have any auto indenting. If you want knowledge on the various ways to set indenting in Pages, choose Help, and type, “indent paragraph.” The second item returned should offer, “Setting indents for paragraphs.”

No need to go back to Word.
