First off this is for a website, html not an app...

I want to have a link that will launch the Apple Maps app with a specific Latitude/Longtitude..

I have found the link to the documentation https://developer.apple.com/library/safari/#featuredarticles/iPhoneURLScheme_Ref erence/Articles/MapLinks.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40007894-SW1

So far:

Using the ll url parameter (e.g. http://maps.apple.com/maps?ll=51.83733,-8.3016 ) I can get the Maps app to launch and center on the target location, however, no marker or pin is dropped...

What I really would use is the Destination address paramater like so http://maps.apple.com/maps?daddr=San+Francisco...

..but my destination is a lat/long e.g. 51.83733,-8.3016

and daddr only seems to accept text strings
