I now cant copy images from iPhoto 2011 into my iWeb site.

By what process are you  trying to copy the images into iWeb?

As a first cut try this:  launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library.  Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists with iWeb.

I followed the instructions similar to your suggestion in the above link ( found in Apple discussions). I am now able to copy and paste images to pages from iWeb.  The trajedy is that I have lost so many images!

It would seem that I can only retreive images via Time machine at a point and have got the permission to retreive them. I am the administrator of this 2008 iMac computor, and I have the latest version of IPhoto.

I am also assuming there were images that I used perhaps grabbed from the internet that have made iPhoto ban me from using any other image prior to this new library created using Time machine. I have checked for a virus in my machine and everything seems fine.

So, my question is why cant I retreive those images that were accepted by IPhoto and that were imported via a digital camera and were not corrupt. They mus have been stored somewhere or have they been erased by iPhoto? If they were erased I will have to accept my medicine, and work with the now fully functioning iPhoto !
