This new version of iTunes really is rubbish. I can't believe what Apple were thinking here. Why take something that worked perfectly well and was great and turn it into something that is confusing, illogical and totally un-user friendly? That's the sort of thing I'd expect Microsoft to do! Very, very poor and such a shame!

This says it about as well as anyone has, and i suspect nails the reasons for the catastrophe that is iTunes 11.  I've been involved with software design since '81, too, and this has all the markings of a small group of kids who think they know better than the installed customer base and decided to turn a well-liked, well-developed UI into this mess.

So, let me put this in a way these kids will understand: iTunes 11 - Epic Fail!

I WISH I saw this post before I updated...

Alright, just updated and I've been having trouble transferring music and books into my iphone. I've always manually synced my media so i went into summary and changed the settings from auto to manual but when I clicked on the Done icon a warning message popped up and said that my iPhone is synced with another itunes library... ***?? I've only used it with this computer!

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

    Thanks.

It takes me to page 11 of this thread and there are no responses from rich_malina on that page.

I despise Itunes 11, what a stupid disaster. What were they thinking?   There is nothing improved about it, everything is a giant leap backwards.

They took a simple easy to use intuitive to understand application and turned it into a mashed up mess.  I'm selling all my Apple stock and advise everyone else to think hard about Apples future  because if this is how the Post - Jobs company is going to be ran I'll take my money elsewhere.

Steve jobs was a man of vision a thinker with one goal for apple its improvment thru change not change for changes sake his ideas were based on the idea that apple products will be the best there is the man was a genius it would appear at this time the only one apple had though. i doubt that is the case now, at the core pardon the pun apple needs to roll back itunes to 10 .7 give full insruction on what is required to do this and allow those that wish to keep itunes 11 to do so i would not want my opinion forced on any one else maybe some like itunes 11 i dont because it didnt work simple u tube steve jobs stanford commencement speach 2005 you will see what i mean

iTunes 11 slow - not quite what I think. very slow more like, also totally useless (as has been said a number of times). Now find that when i plug in my iphone 4 to back it up. I get the notice that iTunes is downloading an update for a app I deleted months ago from both my iphone and iTunes 10. Also to note this update would take 4,335 minutes to download on a 80Meg/Sec DSL line (maybe it thinks I'm using a 28.8KPS dial up connection?

Also to note, when I logged into iTunes tonight, it sent me to the main Apple website and asked me to complete a survey. So completed said survey as requested with a very dissatisfied note for iTunes.
