hi. i'm trying to write good notes of my piano compositions using midi and garageband and came across 3 problems:

1) it does't let me write low notes on the g clef but takes it straight to the f clef.

2) sometimes it writes breaks though in the "piano roll" there are non. and it doesn't let me fix it.

3) sometimes it writes a quarter note as 2 eighth notes connected with a bridge (not between barrieres) and doesn't let me fix it.

i'll appreciate your help a lot!

There isn't really anything you can do about this. GarageBand is not notation software. The notes view is just a help to let you edit the software instrument tracks.

If you want etter control over the notation, you need notation software, for example Finale, but that is not free software.
