What happened to my playlists?  Ah, they are hidden under "music".  Too bad I use them for podcasts and videos more than for music.  Very confusing.  Anyone know how to upgrade to the prior version?

I just did like 5 min, you can read my prior posts.. It is the best thing ever man..

I feel so alive... my music library is very important to me... Apple screwed me over with Itunes 11..

Everyone needs to revert back... Itunes 11 is just wrong...

Well it's aboslutely moron that podcasts now have to be a separate app, that's for sure.  Apple has clearly already begun their long slow decline as confirmed by their stock price (still inflated but at lesat falling)

Add me to the angry Itunes user list.  I hate the new update.  I can't even figure how to get it to scroll through the albums of a single artists without hitting the arrow buttons and having to wait for it to through every track.  I download a lot of audiobooks from CDs. It's hard to see if they are all there when I can't sort them alphabetically and see them at least all  lined up under the artist.

Itunes 11 ***** and I am not computer savvy enough to figure out how to revert it to an older version.

This makes me want to return the IPOD I bought my daughter for Christmas.  She updated Itunes on her computer and hates it too.

Someone how I now have a scroll bar so I can at least scroll through albums.  But since it just magically appeared, I don't know if it'll be there the next time I open Itunes.  I clicked and ran my cursor all over the area and couldn't get a scroll bar to pop up.

I have people messaging me on an online reading group I belong to asking me for help with Itunes becasue they know I use it for audiobooks.

upper top left side where it says hide tool bar, click it so it says show tool bar. Or botton lower left. But be craful on lower left, because its very easy to hit delete playlist which I have done to many times(another bug)

Dear Apple. The new iTunes is terrible. I don't like that ITunes DJ is gone. I don't like that the album spanning thing is gone. I don't like that you no longer see the album artwork in the bottom righthand corner while a song is playing, and that now it's a TINY little picture up at the top that is so small it's barely worth looking at. And I don't like that the space for the list of songs is suddenly so much smaller. It means I have to scroll to view my smaller playlists in their entirety. All in all, this update is awful. Please, PLEASE let us go back to the previous version.

On the other versions of itunes, you were able to stop a song, not just pause it. When I hit pause that's all it does is pause the song. Pause/Play. That's all it does. The only way to end a song is to drag it to the end. I was asking how to turn a song off, not just pause a song.

No, it works the same as it always has.

    Pause = Stop

The bigger question is what the **** is going on at Apple to allow iTunes 11 to happen?

We have witnessed the IOS Maps issue, but in Apple's defense, that was a new and most ambitious program for them.  iTunes on the other hand, is at the very heart of the Apple system and is (or was) a highly developed and evolved system.

There used to be a trust and expectation, which was that over the years of using Apple products and services, that the next product evolution, would be better, faster, sexier.  That trust has now been broken.  I no longer have that expectation because of iTunes 11.

I'd like to go back to 10.7 but don't know how... I go to the iTunes store and if I preview a song, it doesn't work!!  I have to open my Windows Task Manager every time in order for the stupid thing to work!  It's crap!  PLEASE FIX THIS!!!  It's ******* me off!  And WTH is it with those dumb looking cloud things??? I also don't understand why every time I open iTunes now it tries to connect to the store.  I DON'T LIKE THAT!

You can still stop a song, you just have to go to "controls"  on the menu bar and select "stop".  It's annoying, but at least you can do it.  marc

I am convinced that is by design - I think that Apple now believes iTunes primary purpose is to point you to the store, remember they don't make any money from iTunes itself
