Since we have no information to go on it will be tough. Is this on your computer, an iPad, an iPod Touch, an iPhone?
What does "doesn't work" mean?

iPad... updated, now can't open the program, won't even run... There must be an update for the update or something that's missing... I have 2 ipads and i'm afraid to update the second one...Software problems!

Download a free app (any free app), install and run it then try Pages again.

Still didn't work. Loaded for a second, then just cut out... Thanks for trying so hard to fix it!

Check your login in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and be sure the Apple ID listed there is correct.
Also, have you Reset your iPad (hold down the sleep and home buttons, wait for the Apple logo, let go of the buttons)?

Thank you, but tried and none of those are working... The old version is working just fine on my other iPad. Hope we can resolve this fairly quickly? Has anyone else had this problem?

In answer to all of your questions,
-iCloud was turned on
-prior to the update i was using the file... that's why i was sad it was gone!!
-it didn't crash on the other iPsd
-Pages was installed from the app store
I discovered one thing as i was thinking about it...
I took it off the iPad, then reinstalled it.
Works great now!!
Thanks for your trouble!! Maybe it just needed a break?
