Automator service for iPhoto - selection won't stick

So I want to create a service to provide a contextual menu item to add selected images to a certain album in iPhoto. I've set it up as follows:

If I quit or close and then reopen, the album dropdown menu has defaulted back to 'Events', which is the top item. Same thing occurs repeatedly - i.e I can't get my selected album 'Desktop Pictures' (happens to be at the bottom of the list) to stick.

Is this a bug in Automator? Or am I missing something?  Thanks.

When you open the workflow in Automator the selection goes back to the default but the saved service when run will have the value you set in the pulldown.

One other thing are these images in iPhoto already and you are just putting them into an album or are they new images your are putting into iPhoto? If they are new you should use Import Files into iPhoto action.

    regards

Guess I didn't explain myself very well.

When the workflow is run as a service the album name will be the name that you set.

However if you open the workflow in Automator again the album name will appear as the default entry.  If you were to say it at this point the album name would be saved as whatever it is set to.

So does that clear it up or did I make it even muddier?

Yes if you open the service in Automator  AND re-save it you need to make sure you set the album name again.
