Q: When I am trying to burn my playlist, there is an error message that says "cd/dvd software not found"  How do I fix this?

When I am trying to burn my playlist, there is an error message that says "cd/dvd software not found"  I can burn in windows media but not itunes.  I have tried to uninstall and reinstall itunes but it still does not work.  Please help!!

    This looks to be our culprit:

     

    The driver AFS.SYS is installed on the system.

     

    Try Solution 2 from the following document:

     

    iTunes for Windows: Optical drive is no longer recognized, or "Disc burner or software not found" alert after install

    This did not work...Are there any other suggestions for this error message?

    I have the same problem...I used to purchase music and burn it to a CD for my car and when I updated my itunes, (which I wish I hadn't and doing a system restore failed) I can not figure out how to burn any music off my itunes...I need to burn a CDS for church this Sunday so please help...
