Okay, I screwed up. Got my daughter's old Macbook as she got a new Macbook Pro. Wanted to wipe it clean and start like it was new. I've done this before with other Macs, but this time I did something wrong.

Can't get the computer to start up. It just keeps recycling. I do have the original OS X 10.6.1 discs. I can start up from the disc, but it keeps prompting me to go through the installation process.

Here's where I think I messed up. If I choose the disk utility window, where it would show the computer hard drive info it shows the DVD disc info.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
