Every time I attempt to unregister my iPad from my supportprofile.apple.com I get the same error, "We're sorry, but we are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again in a few minutes."
I've tried this off and on for week now using multiple browsers with the same results. I want to unregister it so I'm able to register it on another account.

Here the same problem, cannot unregister my old iPad. I want to give it to my son, who uses his own Apple Id. I tried it from last sunday, but it still is not functioning.

The solution in my case was to call Apple Support, they fixed my problem.
