Hi, my Macbook Pro Mid 2012 has a Problem with my Buffalo MiniStation 3.0. Until yesterday, I had no problems connecting to my external harddisk via USB. But now, from one moment to another, it stops working. Before that, a light on the Ministation indicates which kind of USB Version is connected. Blue for USB 3.0 and green for USB 2.0. On my old Macbook Pro from 2006 the harddrive works pretty fine. Also on my white Macbook from 2007 and on my iMac from 2010. So, when I start my MacBook Pro, the green light starts flashing for a short moment. Then nothing. You can hear, that something is working inside, but nothing happens on my desktop. I don’t know exactly, but I think that the problem occurred after the MacBook Pro 2.0 Update (or something like that) for Mountain Lion 10.8.2, that I’ve made yesterday. I think, this is a bit ironic, because it seems, that there are a lot of problems with USB-Port on the RetinaMBP and the Update should improve that. Not for me ...
Is there anybody with the same issues? Any suggestions (I tried a lot)?
