Dec 11, 2012 6:58 AM in response to reidman1by jepb,Same issue with my 2012 Nissan Navara and iPhone 5 answering calls, I've posted separately on this issue too.
Disappointed IOS 6.0.1 update didn't solve this issue as it's dangerous and frustrating.
Surely enough people have posted on this now for Apple to crack on and get it resolved...

Dec 11, 2012 8:00 AM in response to jag.atxby GBRAD,Thanks jag.atx. This worked for my 2011 BMW. I did take the additional step of resetting the iPhone 5, deleting all BT devices from my iPhone and the BMW. I have been successfully receiving calls for 2weeks now. However this procedure did not fix the like problem on my Garmin Zumo 660.

Dec 11, 2012 12:02 PM in response to reidman1by SheltieHenryMom,I'm having the same problem as everyone else but also, I noticed when I'm in the car with bluetooth on, text messages are silent. I hear no sound or even vibration when a text comes in.

Dec 11, 2012 12:32 PM in response to reidman1by SheltieHenryMom,Just found this link from Toyota. It tells you what they have tested, passed, failed with regards to compatiblity issues. Don't know how helpful it is, but thought I'd share.

Dec 11, 2012 10:34 PM in response to reidman1by brooksiedad,I'm having same issue with brand new 2012 Infiniti QX and 2013 Infiniti M37x. My wife's iPhone 4 with iOS 6.0.1 works fine but my iPhone 5 with same OS won't recieve calls (they connect, but I can't hear caller and they can't hear me). Based on this I believe it's an Apple issue related to iPhone 5, not the OS. Very frustrating as it basically removes the benefit of vehicle handsfree. Dear Apple, please fix ASAP...thanks!

Dec 17, 2012 8:04 PM in response to reidman1by ymmotaj,Adding yet another comment in this discussion: my old ip4 worked and continues to with the Sony installed in my old Mercedes. My new ip5 does not pair. However, it receives pairing requests from neighboring cars at stop light in traffic...
Wait for 6.01.1 or 02, or go to a Genius Bar and get a replacement phone?

Dec 18, 2012 11:45 AM in response to wirelessandyby Jeff Critelli,I will give it a try as soon as I get home. Stand by what I fear will be a disappointing result.

Dec 18, 2012 12:53 PM in response to Jeff Critelliby Ch'Pok,From the release notes iOS only addresses a wifi bug; also it is available for only iPhone 5, so it won't help those with older phones running iOS 6.
This has been going on since iOS 5 (I have a Verizon iPhone 4). I have called both Apple and Infiniti (I have an '08 G35) and visited the Genius Bar twice. Apple doesn't seem to care.
I am in the market for a new phone after Christmas and will seriously consider an Android if this isn't fixed. My car has a manual transmission and it is unsafe (even more so than most cars) to use the phone without a handsfree system.
