View/ external video/ all frames, used to give me instant full screen view of image in FCP...won't do it now.

Also ??? why are some of my sequence setting differing within one project???

Have one with 1280 720 29fps apple pro res and then another with different frame rate 59fps with apple intermediate codec.

Can one take fooatge from one seq. and take another seq that doesn't match, and make a new seq. and give it the same settings.....Obviously i have messed up somewhere, new camera and all???

i want to make a new seq. to re edit footage and footage comes in not fitting format of new seq. can a change seq settings once I have already chosen one when opening project.

Thankyou for any suggestions?

Don't know why full screen view isn't working for you any more, but you might try deleting your preferences using digitial rebellion's preference manager.

How did you bring all the material in to fcp?  That's probably the source of your problem with differing clip formats.

I recommend deciding on your target setting and converting the material that does not match  using compressor.  FCP will usually not do a good job of mixing frame rates and there can be serious problems down the road when you're ready to output.

Did you try and use log and transfer?  If that doesn't work, try loading one of the clips in quicktime and tell us what the settings are.  Most important, the codec or compressor.
