Q: Why do my airport, bluetooth, and some applications automatically turn on after start up?

Hello. I have some problems with my Powerbook G4 15" (last generation). While most of airport problem is, it can't be turned on, but why do my airport and bluetooth automatically turn on as well as some application like microsoft word and VLC everytime after I start up my Powerbook?. I have no clue why those happen. It was only airport before, but then some application as well as my bluetooth start to do the same. Can anyone help me? Thank you so much.

I am not sure about 10.4.11 but on later OS X I go to System Preferences/Users&Groups/Login Items. Use the
+ - boxes to add or delete programs.

Thank you for the help. My application problem has been solved. Now, I'm still having problem with the airport
It keeps automatically turning on after I start up the Powerbook.

I don't have an answer for the AirPort problem but you might want to go to the Airport Community and post there. It appears to be an active group. good luck.

Have you tried turning it off when you shut down after the previous session on the Mac?
