I have a 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 27-inch (Mid 2011) iMac with AMD Radeon HD 6970M graphics card.

Installed Windows 7 via Boot Camp, and the maximum resolution I can select in Windows Displays control panel is 1400 pixels wide (forget the height). On the Mac side it's 2560x1440! It looks terrible on the Windows side.

Granted, I installed the 32-bit version of Windows 7. I'm looking to see if I can get the 64-bit version instead. In the mean time, anyone know if the 64-bit version will fix this issue? Are Apple's 32-bit Win7 display drivers simply outdated? Or is there some other solution here?

Or am I stuck with a crappy resolution? Even my old 20" iMac from 2007 had much better resolution than this on the Windows side!

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
