I have a mid-2011 13" MacBook Air with OS X 10.8.2 set to English with a Japanese-layout keyboard.

I use three input methods set, including Kotoeri, French Canadian, and Sucheng (for handwritten input). By default, I use Kotoeri to input English and Japanese, using the alphanumeric and kana keys on each side of the spacebar to toggle between alphabet and Japanese input.

When Kotoeri is active, one every 10 minutes or so, it will jump its CPU usage to 100% for about 10 seconds, preventing me from doing any text input anywhere.

Is there anyone else having this problem? How can it be resolved?

Thanks in advance!
