I am trying to update iTunes 10.6.1 to 11.0 and it stays at 6.90 MB. Can someone help me with this issue?

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

Perhaps you should consider yourself fortunate and not upgrade to that POS iTunes 11. Read of others travails with it first. Be sure to back up your library file before upgrading. You may want to go back. I lost all my play counts and a bunch of album names and other important things. Wish I had not upgraded.

That wasn't the point... the point was, try a different browser than the one you are currently using.

Also, temporarily disable all security software on the computer as it may be interferring.

I agree with sallenmd, seriously check out others experiences with iTunes 11, I wish I had not upgraded to it. In fact I'm right now browsing the forum to learn how to back it out.
