Yes, if POP account, Mail>Mailbox>New Mailbox...>On my Mac, drag the older ones to it, or make a Rule that moves ones older than a year.
If IMAP account you're likely best making the new Mailbox online in a browser using Webmail first.

I am preparing to update my 2.16 C2D Macbook (currently 10.5.8) to 10.6 and before I started I want to make backups of the Mac and XP (Bootcamp) partitions. But after downloading and installing Winclone (and overwriting an earlier Winclone) I then get the msg that I can't use Winclone with 10.5.8!! Catch22--
My Bootcamp partition has software that I must preserve because I originally downloaded it and do not have any other versions. How can I do this? Is it possible to install 10.6 on another (external) HD and "cross-backup" the Bootcamp partition onto it? I REALLY do not want to risk updating to 10.6 without first creating a backup of Bootcamp. Current partition sizes are MAC 132GB (with 32GB unused); XP is 101GB unused; 70GB used (I am going to re-size these-- but cannot at the moment.)
But first-- how to update safely? Do a CCC image of 10.5.8 (to an external) then update to 10.6 and hope nothing goes wrong?

That would be the safest by far, after cloning, boot from the external drive, use Bootcamp to partition the external, see if Winclone can clone XP to the external partition.
