Okay here's one for you guys...

Last night I used my 13" Macbook Pro, in Windows 8 (Bootcamped) to output video signal to an external display via the video port to HDMI in 1920x1080 resolution so of course the Macbook's built-in display had to be turned off.  After I was finished I just shut down the computer, without enabling my built in digital display.

Today when I tried to boot up Windows 8 again, I get to the loading screen and then it goes black.  I can actually press ESC and enter my password to log into the computer (while screen is black) and the computer actually logs me in because I can hear my Skype start up a few moments later.  But my screen remains turned off because it was set to output the video to an external display in the Graphics Options.

So I would love to know how the heck to go about getting my screen to turn back on with a hotkey or shortcut of some sorts.  And don't tell me I have to hook my Macbook to an external display via HDMI because if I could do that right now don't you think I would be doing it rather than writing this post?

All help is greatly appreciated and I wonder if there is actually a way to do this?
