Click on Support at the top of the Apple page, then click on Downloads.
Enter Epson in the Search window and hit Return.
Go to and download the Epson Printer Driver v2.28 for OS X

Hi Den, oddly enough, that's exactly what I was doing just before your reply came through.
As yet, I'm still looking for the scanner driver in there, unless it's included in the 1.11gb of info from the download that just came through.
For your response, I'm giving you a gold star. for being 1st out of the starting gate.

You will need to go to Epson for there Scanning Software, but to be honest I've never used it and always use the OS X Image Capture App for Scanning from my Epson All-in-one's.iMac, Mac Mini, iPad, iPods, Mac OS X (10.6.8), (10.8.2), Safari, iTunes, iPhoto

Thanks for that, den. My problem now is to add the printer to my list but when I click 'Add' or '+' to add a printer, there is NO WAY that I'm able to do that. the window shows no clues as to how to do that. All it does is show a
the Add window with 4 icons in the top left, namely 'Default, Fax, IP and Windows. Below that are a number of lines under the headings of Name and Kind, then below are 3 slots to type in info under 'Name' (No Selection greyed out), Location (No selection greyed out) and Use: and in the bottom right corner a greyed out button 'Add'.
The system doesn't seem to allow me to insert or type in any info that relates to the printer or IP address or any other info I might need to type in.
I'm afraid to say that for the time being I'm at a loss as to how to proceed from here. Any help to a satisfactory conclusion to this matter will earn full marks.I think I've got to re-learn how to post screen shots on here.

Hi Den, Right, I've taken 2 screen shots to better illustrate what my problem is with getting to add the Epson printer to my printer list. Let's see if this works:
Hopefully, the above screen shots better illustrate what my system is throwing up. Any help that anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.
