Hello again. I ended up reinstalling all the content, however, that did not help. I also reinstalled both Garage Band and MainStage but some files are still reported as missing. I really don't know what else I can do to fix this. Thanks for any help.

I have similar issues with Garage Band since purchasing a new iMac 27 inch running Mountain Lion OS. None of my Jam Packs work, not to mention all of the additional Garage Band instruments that came with those Jam Packs. Two hours on the phone with Apple Care yielded no answers as they seemed to be as perplexed as we are.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I tried everything I could possibly think of but to no avail. I ended up completely uninstalling both Garage Band and MainStage and redownloading all 20GB of the content. Everything is working fine now. Sorry to say but this may be the only ultimate solution to this problem.
