my penny - for what it's worth.
Error -108 memFullErr Ran out of memory [not enough room in heap zone]
Turn off - TimeMachine usually works - re-try.
(the Application down in the Dock - not the Device)
But this can mean many thing's - My first thought is
• Free Space on Start-Up hard disk. How much ? (other disks do not count)
I never go less than 25GB for SD-Video material - and think 4-5 times more is a good minimum level for HD-material.
• SPEED changes - Is a known problem but by using the pre-set speeds e.g. 25% etc then it use to work - not so for the in-between values as 43%.

Time Machine has never been turned on, so I don't think the issue lies there.
the events are located on two different hard drives located in one external harddrive, 250GB space each. one has 4GB free space, the other has 125GB free space. but my project is located on the macintosh HD, wich has 135GB free space. I also tried duplicating the project to the hard drive with 125GB free space but I got the same error there.
for the speed changes, I've only used the standard 50% and 200% and 400% speeds, so thats is okay right?
thanks for the help anyway, any ideas what it could be?

somehow it finalized! I just randomly retryed finalizing the one stored on the external HD wich I had removed the 20x speeded up part and transition titles in and it just worked! you can't imagine how happy this made me! still its strange because i did not change a single this that could have influenced it..
